Its the closest town to the lake ( about 15 minutes in a car).

In the daytime – a visit to the Market is a must – with its colours, odours and local customs.

In the evening - a visit to the Night Bazaar which is situated in the square, next to the bus depot. You can eat for next to nothing and there are a lot of market traders selling just about everything you could think of - open until midnight.

There is a lot of live music bars and discotheque. The Cat Bar’ is a very entertaining evening with groups playing the 80’s music in an International ambiance and theres’s Bowling too.

On a more serious note – the Clinic and hospital in the area are very professional and most of the staff speak English.
